Flutterby Monarchs is a family owned Palmerston North business, established in 2010 after developing our breeding over many years. It has long been a seasonal hobby which turned into a small part-time business that we thoroughly enjoy.
We love the satisfaction involved in raising & preparing healthy vibrant butterflies & having them be a part of some very significant occasions. We pride ourselves on thorough planning & communication to ensure everything is in place - this is reflected in feedback from happy customers.

The enthusiasm we share for our business is encouraged by our two children, who have taken an active role in every part of the breeding process from very young, and feature in some of our photos.
Flutterby Monarchs is active in the local community educating both children and adults in the care and lifecycle of the Monarch butterfly. We have had several local childcare groups visit us.
Flutterby Monarchs has also been involved in creating a local butterfly park in Milson for all to enjoy.
